Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt

This is what the next quilting project looks like for our Satellite Quilt group that meets twice a month at my recreation room here on the Gorge Waterway.  It is a book of letters from 1920 farm wives and the 111 blocks they inspired.  I'm hoping my fabric choices will work as the material pictured in the book certainly is not in my stash.  I can't wait to get started.  Why do we need to sleep when there is so much quilting one wants to do.  Am I the only one that that goes to bed at night and hope I sleep fast so I can  get back to my sewing room and start quilting again.  I think not!

I have that book too but have not started the quilt. When I make it I intend to do scrappy look with a white or cream background - I don't care for the darker colors of civil war fabric and some of the homespun look.
