Bags of late

This will be 6 bags in total I've made so far and I'm thinking that's enough.
I made many of these cute card holders with my Embroidery machine which are done in the hoop and are gift or credit card size.
This Saturday I went up to Nanaimo to take a quick 2 hr wool hand applique class which was so much fun.  The shop is called Snip and Stitch and they are bringing in wool and kits from The Wooly Lady and it is so pretty and luscious that I picked up a kit, wool pieces and some 12 wt Valdani Perle Cotton.  Yes, there were some stops on the way back and here is my pictorial confession.
Here is closer picture of some stunning fabric by Robert Kaufman which I immediately fell in love with.  Because of the graphic nature of it I'll have to be very selective in how I use it but it was a "must" have.

We had lunch at a fabulous place called the Crow and Gate Pub.  I'm sorry I couldn't post a picture but please click on the link and it'll take you there. If in the area it's worth a stop and the atmosphere is warm and inviting though that day being Robbie Burns Day was so....busy!
Have a great Monday and I hope you can take the time to be a little creative.
